Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to the SynchrotronAI website, workflow-review intake, products, hosted systems, pilots, APIs if offered, integrations, support channels, professional services, managed services, and any environment where SynchrotronAI provides access or technical operation. It applies to customers, users, administrators, prospects, contractors, and anyone acting through their accounts or systems.
Additional use restrictions may appear in a signed agreement, product terms, cloud provider terms, customer security policy, or third-party integration terms. The stricter applicable requirement controls.
Legal compliance
You may not use SynchrotronAI systems or services to violate law, regulation, sanctions, export controls, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, contractual rights, professional duties, or third-party terms. You are responsible for ensuring your instructions, data, workflows, configurations, users, and outputs are lawful for your use case and jurisdiction.
You may not submit data that you are not authorized to provide or ask SynchrotronAI to process data in a way that would violate applicable law or a third party's rights.
Sanctions and restricted parties
You may not use SynchrotronAI systems, products, services, software, outputs, or technical information if you are subject to sanctions, located in a prohibited jurisdiction, acting for a denied party, or using the services for prohibited end uses under applicable export control or sanctions laws.
Security abuse
You may not interfere with, attack, probe, scan, disrupt, bypass, or degrade SynchrotronAI systems, customer environments, cloud infrastructure, third-party services, or networks. Prohibited activity includes malware, credential theft, vulnerability exploitation, denial-of-service activity, unauthorized scraping, automated abuse, rate-limit evasion, spam, phishing, social engineering, token theft, and attempts to bypass authentication, authorization, monitoring, logging, or safety controls.
Security testing requires prior written authorization and a defined scope. Do not test production systems, customer environments, cloud accounts, or third-party services without written permission.
Data and privacy abuse
You may not use SynchrotronAI systems or services to collect, infer, expose, sell, disclose, re-identify, or misuse personal data without authorization and lawful basis. You may not upload sensitive, regulated, confidential, biometric, health, financial, children's, government identification, or other high-risk data unless the applicable agreement and architecture authorize that data and define appropriate safeguards.
You may not use outputs or integrations to stalk, harass, profile, surveil, discriminate, dox, impersonate, or make unauthorized decisions about people.
AI safety and human review
AI-assisted systems can produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable outputs. You may not rely on AI outputs as the sole basis for high-impact decisions affecting legal rights, safety, employment, credit, insurance, healthcare, housing, education, public benefits, law enforcement, immigration, or other regulated outcomes without qualified human review, documented controls, and compliance with applicable law.
You may not use SynchrotronAI systems to bypass model safety controls, generate prohibited content, automate deceptive decisions, manipulate people, or conceal AI involvement when disclosure is required.
Cybersecurity use
Defensive cybersecurity work must be authorized, scoped, and lawful. You may not use SynchrotronAI systems to develop malware, steal credentials, evade detection, exploit systems without permission, intensify unauthorized access, exfiltrate data, automate phishing, or conduct offensive activity outside a written authorized security scope.
Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use SynchrotronAI systems or services to create, request, distribute, facilitate, or operationalize unlawful, abusive, or harmful content or conduct. This includes threats, harassment, exploitation, sexual abuse material, extremist violence, self-harm facilitation, weaponization, fraud, scams, impersonation, deceptive political activity, discrimination, malicious code, credential abuse, and instructions for wrongdoing.
You may not use SynchrotronAI systems to generate or distribute false claims about people, companies, products, financial matters, compliance status, safety, or legal obligations in a way that is deceptive or harmful.
Political, public-sector, and civic integrity
You may not use SynchrotronAI systems for deceptive political persuasion, voter suppression, impersonation of public officials, misrepresentation of civic processes, or manipulation of public participation. Public-sector use must follow applicable procurement, accessibility, records, security, privacy, and human-review requirements.
Platform integrity
You may not overload, scrape, crawl, frame, resell, reverse engineer, benchmark for competitive misuse, duplicate, or exploit SynchrotronAI systems or content except as allowed by law or a signed agreement. You may not remove notices, obscure ownership, circumvent metering, share access outside authorized users, or use systems in a way that harms other customers or service reliability.
Intellectual property
You may not upload or use content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, publicity rights, database rights, or other intellectual property rights. You are responsible for having rights to the data, prompts, files, instructions, and materials you provide.
Regulated and high-risk uses
Some uses require special terms, controls, validation, approvals, or human oversight. These may include healthcare, legal, financial, credit, insurance, employment, trade compliance, tax, public-sector, critical infrastructure, safety-critical, cybersecurity, biometric, law enforcement, education, and children's data use cases.
SynchrotronAI may decline, pause, or require additional review for high-risk workflows, sensitive data, regulated decisions, unusual data volumes, unsupported jurisdictions, or uses that could create unacceptable legal, security, safety, or operational risk.
Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for their users, administrators, customer-controlled systems, identity providers, source data, permissions, configurations, endpoints, third-party integrations, and compliance program. Customers must promptly notify SynchrotronAI of unauthorized access, suspected misuse, security issues, inaccurate account details, or instructions that need to be changed.
Enforcement
SynchrotronAI may investigate suspected violations and may block, remove, rate-limit, suspend, terminate, or restrict access when necessary to protect users, customers, SynchrotronAI, third-party providers, or the public. SynchrotronAI may also preserve information, notify affected parties, contact providers, or report activity to authorities when required or appropriate.
Reporting
Report suspected abuse, security concerns, or policy violations through the workflow review intake or by email at [email protected]. Include enough detail to identify the system, account, activity, timeframe, and risk.
